Lucis Trust and the theosophical United Nations esoteric spiritual agenda for the “New Age” and arrival of the “The Teacher”

Lucis Trust is a non-profit organization incorporated in New York State, created in 1920 by Alice Bailey and her husband Foster, to manage the business of publishing Mrs. Bailey’s twenty-five esoteric books. Its headquarters are in New York City (at 24th floor of the120 Wall Street), London (Lucis Press Ltd.) and Geneva (Lucis Trust Association).

In addition to continuing to publish her books worldwide, Lucis Trust’s activities also include a correspondence school based on her teachings (known as the Arcane School), a lending library of esoteric books known as Lucis Trust Libraries, a publishing house called Lucis Publishing Companies, Lucis Productions, World Goodwill and Triangles.

Today it has around 6,000 members, and an estimated annual revenue of $600,000.

The World Goodwill group, founded in 1932, is particularly important among Lucis Trust’s activities, as it has been recognized by the United Nations as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), and is represented at regular briefing sessions at the United Nations in New York and Geneva. Lucis Trust is therefore a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

In part because of this presence of Lucis Trust in the United Nations System, along with explicit reference by former Assistant Secretary General Robert Muller in his writings to Bailey’s philosophy, some have accused the UN of having a New Age ideology and agenda.

A secondary headquarter of Lucis Trust is in Reeuwijk, Netherlands (Lucis Trust Stichting). Other esoteric associations tightly connected to Lucis Trust are the School of Ageless Wisdom in Arlington, TX, the School for Esoteric Studies in Asheville, NC, the Seven Ray Institute in Union City, NJ, the Great Bear Astrological Center in Eugene, OR, the Escuela Huber de Astrologia in Adliswil, Switzerland, the Associazione Culturale dei Triangoli e della Buona Volontà Mondiale in Rome, Italy. The main locations of meetings organized by Lucis Trust are nowadays The Grosvenor Hotel in London, the Williams Club and the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, both located in New York.

World Goodwill is an organised movement founded in 1932 to help establish right human relations and solve humanity’s problems through the constructive power of goodwill. World Goodwill’s activities are essentially educational.

Principles: The work of World Goodwill is based on the principles of brotherhood, human unity, sharing and cooperation; and on the fundamental rights and freedoms embodied in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. World Goodwill is a world service organisation practising the principle of non-discrimination in race, religion, ideology, and political and economic convictions.

Policy: World Goodwill’s policy and programmes are formulated by an international group with headquarters in Geneva, London and New York, in consultation with cooperating groups and associates in many parts of the world.

Organisation: World Goodwill is a voluntary association of men and women of goodwill open to all who support its principles and objectives. World Goodwill is not a “membership organisation” and there are no membership dues.

World Goodwill is an accredited non-governmental organisation with the Department of Public Information of the United Nations. It maintains informal relations with certain of the Specialised Agencies and with a wide range of national and international non-governmental organisations. World Goodwill is an activity of the Lucis Trust, which is on the Roster of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

The Will To Good

There are six recognitions that can provide a basis for realising these purposes and objectives:

One: Humanity is not following a haphazard or uncharted course — there is a Plan. This Plan has always existed and is part of the greater design of the Cosmos. The Plan has worked out through the evolutionary developments of the past and because of the special impetus given it from time to time by the great leaders, teachers and intuitives of the human race.

Two: There is an inner spiritual government of the planet, known under such different names as the spiritual Hierarchy, the society of Illumined Minds, or Christ and his Church, according to various religious traditions. Humanity is never left without spiritual guidance or direction under the Plan.

Three: The widespread expectation that we approach the “Age of Maitreya”, as it is known in the East, when the World Teacher and present head of the spiritual Hierarchy, the Christ, will reappear among humanity to sound the keynote of the new age.

Four: There are millions of mentally alert men and women in all parts of the world who are en rapport with the Plan and work to give it expression. They are people in whom the consciousness of humanity as one interdependent unit is alive and active. They regard the many differing national, religious and social systems in which they serve as modes of expanding human consciousness and ways by which humanity learns needed lessons. Their primary function is, through their living example, to give humanity a new and better vision of what life should be.

Five: The heart of humanity is sound. Our era is notable for the growth of goodwill and altruistic endeavour. All the crises, wars and catastrophes of the twentieth century have been unable to crush the human spirit.

Six: The Plan for humanity is based on the principles of sharing, cooperation, practical brotherhood, right relationships between all people and between nations, and goodwill in action.

These beliefs give a new dimension to spiritual reality and a long-range perspective to our present crises. They provide opportunity for cooperation with the spiritual evolution of humanity and increase our capacity for freedom.

There is no group so likely to ensure that humanity achieves this most difficult goal as the men and women of goodwill. Provided they can overcome inertia they are in a key position, requiring only courage to express goodwill and to initiate action to prepare for the new world order.

The Reappearance of the Christ

This is a time of preparation not only for a new civilisation and culture in a new world order, but also for the coming of a new spiritual dispensation.

Humanity is not following an uncharted course. There is a divine Plan in the Cosmos of which we are a part. At the end of an age human resources and established institutions seem inadequate to meet world needs and problems. At such a time the advent of a Teacher, a spiritual leader or Avatar, is anticipated and invoked by the masses of humanity in all parts of the world.

Today the reappearance of the World Teacher, the Christ, is expected by millions, not only by those of Christian faith but by those of every faith who expect the Avatar under other names — the Lord Maitreya, Krishna, Messiah, Imam Mahdi and the Bodhisattva.

Glamour and distortion surround this central fact of divine response to human need. This is inevitable but unimportant. The fact of transition into a new age is important. Preparation by men and women of goodwill is needed to introduce new values for living, new standards of behaviour, new attitudes of non-separateness and cooperation, leading to right human relations and a world at peace. The coming world Teacher will be mainly concerned, not with the result of past error and inadequacy, but with the requirements of a new world order and with the reorganisation of the social structure.

World Goodwill distributes educational and informative literature on these themes. A world prayer, the Great Invocation, is distributed on a worldwide scale in many languages and dialects. World Goodwill also cooperates in organising the annual World Invocation Day, with special focus on the use of the Great Invocation worldwide.

Aquarian Age Community linked to the UN

http://www.sevenray.net/sri_un_aquaa_meditation.html

The Aquarian Age Community offers a meditation that we can use to support the work of the United Nations, “The Spiritual Work of the United Nations and the Liberation of Humanity”. It is suggested that this meditation be used on the day of the public monthly meditation meetings to support the work of the United Nations and weekly on Friday—the day governed by Venus, which radiates that unique and needed blend of love and knowledge, intelligence and synthesis, understanding and brotherhood the day governed by Venus, which radiates that unique and needed blend of love and knowledge, intelligence and synthesis, understanding and brotherhood and “love as pure reason”—just the qualities needed if the promise of the United Nations is to become a reality.

You are invited to join the growing number of individuals and groups world-wide who regularly use this meditation to support and strengthen the work of the United Nations.

The room is designed like a pyramid lying on its side with a mural in place of the capstone (i.e., the top of the pyramid would appear to be cut-off, with this image appearing in the place of it.) It’s a small room with no windows. In the center of the room is a 4′ high stone [altar?] made of dark grey crystalline ore. The stone is extremely magnetic and possesses polarity. The room is dimly lit, however a small beam of light from a lens in the ceiling focuses on the altar. Dag Hammarskjold, former UN Secretary General, described this center stone as “the symbol of the god of all.”

“The Meditation Room at the United Nations Building in New York, designed by Dag Hammarskjold, contains backless benches – as he wrote: ‘for the men who come here will have enough force to support their own backs.’ In a dark room of sharp angles, a six and a half ton (the entire building had to be reinforced) black iron ore altar evokes Abraham and Isaac and all sacrifice – mythic and historic – swords and ploughshares.”

Lucis Trust promulgates the work of an “Ascended Master” who was working ‘through’ Alice Bailey for some 30 years. The Lucis Trust Publishing Company and their many fronts and organizations worship an “Externalized Hierarchy” of “Ascended Masters,” who carry out the work of a Luciferian “master plan” for the establishment of a permanent “Age of Aquarius” ruled by one “Sanat Kumara”, the “Lord of the World.”

Lucis Trust is a powerful institution that enjoys “Consultative Status” with the United Nations, which permits it to have a close working relationship with the U.N., including a seat on the weekly sessions, but most importantly, influence with powerful business and national leaders throughout the world.

Through its founding of World Goodwill, Lucis Trust is “aggressively involved in promoting a globalist ideology”:

Fifty years at the United Nations plaza. Currently located on Wall Street in New York. Lucis Trust provides worldwide financial support for the Arcane School, World Goodwill, Triangles, Lucis Publishing, Lucis Productions, Lucis Trust Libraries, and the New Group of World Servers. Lucis Trust maintains the UN meditation room.

“Prayer, meditation and spirituality at the UN are fascinating subjects. All major world religions are accredited to the United Nations as non-governmental organizations. For example, no less than twenty-four Catholic organizations are represented at the UN. Several of the world’s religious leaders have visited the international organization. Most memorable were the visits of His Holiness Pope Paul VI during the General Assembly in 1965 and of Pope John Paul II in 1979. Many religions have special invocations, prayers, hymns and services for the United Nations. The most important examples are those of the Catholic, the Unitarian-Universalist, the Baptist and the Bahai faiths. It is a common practice of the Unitarian-Universalists to display the United Nations flag in their houses of worship. So does the Holy Family Church, the parish church of the UN, with its international reliquary and its many religious services and activities catering to world peace and to the international community.

POPE-US TRIP/UNITED NATIONS

http://www.catholicdigest.com/article/un-room-seen-as-reminder-of-worlds-need-for-prayer-meditation-

When he welcomed Pope Benedict XVI to the United Nations April 18 and introduced him in the General Assembly hall, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon noted that the world body is “a secular institution” with 192 member states and “six official languages, but no official religion.”

“We do not have a chapel,” he said, but “we do have a meditation room.”

He was talking about the Dag Hammarskjold Meditation Room, named for the Swedish diplomat who was U.N. secretary-general, 1953-61.

After delivering his General Assembly speech and addressing U.N. staff, Pope Benedict was given a brief tour, which included the meditation room.

It was created by Hammarskjold specifically for the use of diplomats, staff and all visitors because he recognized that even in a secular institution there is a place for silent prayer and meditation.

“We all have within us a center of stillness surrounded by silence,” Hammarskjold said in dedicating the room in 1957.

“This house, dedicated to work and debate in the service of peace, should have one room dedicated to silence in the outward sense and stillness in the inner sense,” said Hammarskjold, a Christian. “It has been the aim to create in this small room a place where the doors may be open to the infinite lands of thought and prayer.”

As one enters the main U.N. entrance, the meditation room is located to the right of the information desk, next to the “Chagall Peace Window.”

The window was made as a tribute to Hammarskjold, who died in 1961 in a plane crash in what is now Zambia.

The blue glass of the window is a warm azure that echoes the beauty of Marc Chagall’s other works.

The window is 15 feet wide and 12 feet high and contains several symbols of peace and love, including an image of a small child being kissed by an angel that emerges from a bouquet of flowers. On the left, below and above the child, motherhood and people struggling for peace are depicted. In the upper right-hand corner is found a crucifix.

Musical symbols are spread throughout the window, possibly a reference to one of Hammarskjold’s favorite pieces, Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9.”

The sign outside the room, which is open to the public, bears a message for all visitors: “Please respect the sanctity of this room.”

It’s a simple room with a block of iron ore in the middle, a stone that can serve as an altar or simply as a focus for meditation.

“We may see it as an altar, empty not because there is no God, not because it is an altar to an unknown god, but because it is dedicated to the God whom man worships under many names and in many forms,” Hammarskjold said in his dedication remarks.

The stone “reminds us also of the firm and permanent in a world of movement and change,” he said. “The block of iron ore has the weight and solidity of the everlasting. It is a reminder of that cornerstone of endurance and faith on which all human endeavor must be based.”

The material for the stone was chosen to purposely lead visitors’ “thoughts to the necessity for choice between destruction and construction, between war and peace,” according to Hammarskjold.

“Of iron man has forged his swords, of iron he has also made his ploughshares. Of iron he has constructed tanks, but of iron he has likewise built homes for man. The block of iron ore is part of the wealth we have inherited on this earth of ours. How are we to use it?” he asked.

An abstract painting covers the back wall of the room. It’s “a simple pattern” that opens up the room “to the harmony, freedom and balance of space,” Hammarskjold said.

Other than the abstract painting and the iron ore “altar,” the only other striking symbol in the room is a single shaft of light.

“The shaft of light strikes the stone in a room of utter simplicity. There are no other symbols; there is nothing to distract our attention or to break in on the stillness within ourselves,” Hammarskjold said.

He reminded people to seek inner silence.

“There is an ancient saying that the sense of a vessel is not in its shell but in the void,” he said. “So it is with this room. It is for those who come here to fill the void with what they find in their center of stillness.”

Hammarskjold is the only person to have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize posthumously.

‘Welcome to the United Nations. It’s your World’

ok..where do i start?

you must watch the videos before reading the post..it gives the background on who lucis trust is..then you can see how deeply involved with the UN it is you will understand why we should have some real concerns..

the stuff i found on “the teacher” you must read closely..this is what is going on at the UN..a “christ” to lead the world..i am just staggered with what i read from world goodwill a sub branch of lucis trust and the reappearance of the “christ”

“Two: There is an inner spiritual government of the planet, known under such different names as the spiritual Hierarchy, the society of Illumined Minds, or Christ and his Church, according to various religious traditions. Humanity is never left without spiritual guidance or direction under the Plan.

Three: The widespread expectation that we approach the “Age of Maitreya”, as it is known in the East, when the World Teacher and present head of the spiritual Hierarchy, the Christ, will reappear among humanity to sound the keynote of the new age.”

..the UN isnt a religious cult ( or is it?)..its the governing body of the world..

unification of the worlds religions in tune with theosophy under the guidance of the UN to usher in the new age when the “christ” or “teacher” will arrive just as all the bible stories say..click the link to the “blue text” text i copied..you need to read it to believe it..this is a UN consultative group openly welcoming the aquarian age and the “teacher”..you cannot copy and paste any text off of the webage..not surprised..

the UN uses lucis trust ( formerly lucifer publishing) to print all of its books and has been connected with them since its inception..the links to lucifer worship are undeniable when you look at the founders of lucis trust which is shown in the videos..the meditation room was built by lucis trust..the UN is theosophy?

how involved is the vatican in this..complicit?..can they exult the return of a “christ’?..maybe under the right circumstances..nothing ever happens overnight..these plans take generations to come to fruition..

“In part because of this presence of Lucis Trust in the United Nations System, along with explicit reference by former Assistant Secretary General Robert Muller in his writings to Bailey’s philosophy, some have accused the UN of having a New Age ideology and agenda.” <— no shit..

  1. Wowzer, quite a lot of stuff there Seeker, Nice work.

  2. Seeker, regardless of whether you are religious or not, I recommend you read up on the religious views regarding the arrival of the Anti-Christ. I have read both the Christian and Islamic stories and ideas on what things will be like and what will happen in the run up to and after his arrival, and it is very interesting reading. A lot of what is foretold by both religions regarding the topic can very much be applied to the state of the world today.

    • hi esk..i know what you are saying..there is a symmetry between a lot if not all of the major religions..the fact the UN also is connected with some sort of “christ” arrival story is fascinating as well..thanks

i was brought up in a christian house but i wouldnt profess to being a practising christian ..it has given me insight to things later in life no doubt.. :)

  3. Hi Seeker that INSIGHT is to cherish . What does `practising` Christian means anyway? Just to follow man made rules and regulations? `christian` is too wide a terminology. In our town someone chats to spirits but calls herself a devout christian -although it is strictly verboten to do that! …Thanks for this post. I`ve noticed these happenings for a long time now. Amazing Chri Chinmoy who was or is the UN `s very own darling resident Guru was exposed as a ruthless man (too bad too mention here!)by Professor Janyati Tamm in her book “Cartwheels in a Sari”.

the new surveilance and tracking techno gadgets and fundis of the world is on SHOW. http://www.moreRFID.com a rfid implantable chip containing a sensor to detect the H1N1 flu to be on display? Already approved by US Food and Drug control body. Insight is another word for wisdom. We have to apply and cherish Wisdom now in these days

    • hi tombia..practising as in going to regular church services..

as you say..christian covers a wide range of groups

i have read about that chip..it can be put in the syringe as well..you get the jab you get the chip down the track

  4. The “Illuminated Ones” still use the Babylonian monetary system, and have found the philosopher’s stone in the Fed, to make gold from nothing. It has worked for them for thousands of years, as does their use of control through messiahs. Moses and his ram’s horn for the age of aries, Jesus and his fish for this age of pisces, so naturally they’d be planning a new one for the age of aquarius, the water bearer. No matter how technologically advanced society becomes or decays, they can count on fear of debt (currency) and fear of the unknown (religion) to keep their little social engineering project going towards their greedy whims. I have a feeling they’ll use Project Bluebeam to roll out the new age Teacher.

Here’s an interesting (incriminating?) picture of a Maitreya Buddha from the 2nd century, with a water jar on it’s leg:

I have doubts for our lifetime, but I hope your child can live in a world free from the monstrous illuminati and its mind-slavery.

    • excellent post nanashi..if you have an good links to the fed and the stone i would be interested..you appear to be up to speed on this and i agree..our generation looks to be in trouble..i fear for my kids and the world they will have

you think the teacher is legit?

  5. Nanashi-Jesus did not institute a fish symbol-mere men used it as a symbol. What He stands for is totally the opposite what these pseudo messiahs `promises`-for starters He stood for zero superstitions and warned of the imposters to come. He gave very clear pointers how to know Him from them-check out yourself-Strange that peeps can lump Jesus with these guys without checking out what he said Himself. Also, The ram`s horn is really pushing a `fit` into the zodiac(for the age of aries)-we should know the stars cannot speak, that the zodiac is way wrong -because of the discovery of other planets and the tilt in the earths axis. To blow on a horn is a call to assemble, here in africa it is in use and the didgerydoo in OZ has the same purpose and we dont call it the age of the didgerydoo.

    • good points tombia..i agree that the fish connection is probably man made..but it does have some biblical connotations to

  7. seeker: The ancient alchemists in the East searched for a recipe for immortality. They used to drink mercury but now the world has modern medical science to keep the rich, those able to afford medical care or pay to pioneer new research like stem cells, to effectively live much longer than the less well off. In ancient times, the alchemists of the West sought for the philosopher’s stone, the pseudonym for a recipe to make gold from ordinary metals (usually iron). Even Issac Newton researched this heavily, believing the Greek myths to be metaphorical recipes, their gods being ingredients for making gold. This followed even until the Thule society, where Hitler paid scientists to develop free gold from chemical processes instead of from nature. I posit from my own research on these matters that the Illuminati figured out how to create their own version of the Philosopher’s Stone using math– Modern Money Mechanics– the illusion of an economic system, one that just prints money and manipulates inflation to the benefit of the elite. The worth of a dollar in the past 100 years has gone up on an average of 1% each year, so that their system inevitably crashes. By then, they’ve already bought enough gold to solidify their wealth in actuality, while they wait for the system to reboot itself and begin anew.

I will address the issue of the new age Teacher’s legitimacy in my next comment.

    • great comments..newton was always looking deep wasnt he?..he also researched the bible code i believe

  8. tombia: I know you are a christian, and I am not here to attack your value system. My words are only to shed light on what the Illuminati have planned. I do not believe in astrology, but they use this pseudo science as a means of control over the unenlightened masses. I believe Jesus, if he were an historical person, did not use the image of the fish for himself– but the illuminati saw him as the perfect vessel of a Teacher for the age of pisces. They use the astrological ages and their images and apply it themselves to the candidates of Teachers they find suitable for the respective age. This is obvious in the effect that many gospels were written decades after Jesus’s death, and rewritten/re-translated centuries later by Europeans elites. This is why people put “jesus fish” magnets on their cars without knowing its true meaning– it is a joke on them from the Illuminati that the masses are practicing their own bastardized “pagan” symbol instead of the true teachings of Jesus the Christ.

Now, I have read more about the words of Buddha and of Lao-tzu’s Tao than of christian teachings, but even in Luke 22:10 when Jesus is asked by his disciples where the next passover will be after he is gone, Jesus replied: “Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you bearing a pitcher of water… follow him into the house where he entereth in.”

This is illuminati metaphor for the next age, the age of aquarius. When the new teacher arrives, he will be pure, as was Jesus. He will be enlightened, but not of actual supernatural divinity. Like the Buddha, he will be recognized in his own lifetime of his power to heal the disillusioned, but he will be used after his death as a physical symbol that the rulers of the next age can hijack as their Teacher for their system of control.

This is reality, the pattern of history. It may take another 500 years to come to fruition, as we are on the cusp of the new age according to Illuminati astrology. They will not break in tradition. Before Moses was the age of Taurus, that is why he was so mad in the old testament that the jews were honoring a golden calf– a symbol of the previous age. The sphinx was built in the age of leo. This is what the illuminati does.

I personally believe all of mankind possess the dharma-mind, the buddha-nature. The ability in themselves to become enlightened as our historical Buddha was, and as Jesus the Christ was. This ability isn’t beneficial to those in power, thus they are forced by their own greed to take control of religious institutions and replace it with their symbols and rituals. This takes focus away from actual divinity, the purity of essence found in the purpose of Man’s existence.

  9. Nanashi thanks for your kind reply-the only problems I have with the dharma-mind and buddha- nature are-the golden images of Buddha (are these insituted by the illuminati as well?), the rituals and superstitions to keep evil spirits at bay, the meditations of emptying the mind. All in direct opposite of what Jesus stands for. Titbits out of the bible applied to fit is based on hearsay. Jesus does not want us to empty our mind, follow rituals and superstitions to fend of evil spirits-he also does not want us to call anyone on earth Spiritual Master or Spiritual Father or Spiritual Teacher. I do not want to reach godhood- never will attempt to do so. I will never equal myself with God-thats what Lucifer did. Read Revelations-the book in the bible written by Jesus Himself and promises a blessing to all who read it and keep the words for wisdom. Unfortunately I know I will be one of the people who will not fit into the New Age-or the paradigm shift-I might pay with my life. But it is well with my soul. (The man with the pitcher was a person who owned the home where Jesus had the last supper with his disciples-often Jesus would use a description of someone to indicate a place where something is to happen-) did you read the whole of luke 22?

I have made it my life`s ambition to read and research all of the major religions and when I read that belief in Jesus is no religion and that religion is useless in God`s eyes-as he says in James that true religion is to take care of widow and orphans and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. I Isiah God says He hates the sacrifices, the new moon festivals because the motives of the peoples heart are wrong. Also he does not want us to use repetitive prayer- (leading to an emptying of the mind) Jesus is completely different and stands completely seperate from all who claim to have the `Christ` Spirit. Blessed Greetings to you

    • thankyou tombia for your “from the heart” post..i am not here to make anyone feel uncomfortable with their religion..i will highlight goings on in the vatican as i believe they are evil and not the true christian church anyway..at least we are able to debate this in a proper way showing respect to both sides..some people blindly say religion is a joke and its controlling and it has nothing to do with a modern world but that is so wrong..as both you and nanashi have pointed out..tptb are religious..they believe in a form of astro religion but it is still a belief system so religion is still highly important and relevent..maybe now more than ever

  10. What I will say on the religion debate is that the best people I know are religious people. I know several practicing Christians and Muslims and they are all humble, morally correct, warm, approachable and very trustworthy people. Their harmony of spirit is something I do envy.

Having channeled out my trust throughout my lifetime to various people, I can say that it has of course been broken several times, but never has it been broken by someone whom I knew who was a religious person.

I’m not trying to sell religion here, just my two cents on the whole issue. It would seem that both religions have been hijacked by dark forces and the media has shone it’s wicked light on the darker sides of religion than the positive and beneficial sides.

  11. The first video was removed. Where i can find it again. I’m looking for all i can about the vatican relationship with Lucis Trust. I’ll thank you for any help.
