More than 100 countries recognise Palestine as a state
After Iceland’s formal recognition of the Palestinian state on Thursday, at least 112 countries around the world have recognised Palestine, according to an AFP count.
In Latin America, Uruguay and Peru joined the growing ranks of countries which recognised Palestine this year, with 12 out of the region’s 13 countries formally recognising it as a state.
Only Colombia, a key ally of the United States in the region, has not followed that path.
In Central America, the Palestinian state has been recognised by Cuba, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and Salvador.
Arab countries have also recognised Palestine, notably Syria in July of this year.
In Europe, Iceland became one of the few Western European countries and NATO members to do so, joining the Czech Republic, Hungary, Malta and Poland.
Around 150 countries maintain diplomatic relations with the Palestinians in one form or another.
Palestine currently has “observer” status at the United Nations, but in September, president Mahmud Abbas formally asked the United Nations for full state membership.
In October, Palestine was granted full membership at the UN cultural organisation, UNESCO, in a diplomatic victory won despite stiff resistance from the United States and Israel.
Earlier this week, Abbas urged the European Union to support their UN membership bid after the Palestinian flag was raised over the UNESCO’s headquarters for the first time.
Figures published by the Palestine Liberation Organisation indicate that 130 countries have recognised Palestine.

it’s not my place to tell the palestinian people, who are on the very front lines fighting against those who desire to rule the entire world with “a rod of iron,” how they should engage in their struggle. Statehood, in a world made up of states, would certainly be an improvement over their current status. However, I believe that this statehood movement is a mistake, and that the much better option is the BDS (boycott, divestment, sanctions) movement, which the zionist entity fears much more than statehood.
as we know from reading this blog and others, what is happening here is “game theory” on the part of the zionsts. if you desire to control all of the land from the nile to the euphrates, you can’t simply march in and take it. it is far more desirable to have your neighbors attack you, so that you can once again claim victimhood and “defend” yourself – ending up with all the lands you desired in the first place. and the big bonus is that you were never the bad guys…
of course the brain dead americans are barely able to understand things like this – most of them still think of zionist scum as “victims” – even though american policy is completely consistent with the “game theory” scenario.
the US gave billions of dollars to mubarak in order to keep egypt from attacking the zionists. then all of a sudden, he was the bad guy and was thrown out by the totally made-up “arab spring” movement. the new government immediately opened the supply lines to gaza and even allowed the zionist embassy in cairo to be surrounded for a number of days – a sharp contrast to the policies of the previous regime. if a fair election were held in egypt, we all know that anti-zionists would win it in a landslide.
so why is the US supporting the toppling of pro-zionist regimes and their replacement with anti-zionist regimes? are they not supposed to be the most staunch of the zionists’ allies? look at libya, look at the entire muslim world and see how it is being setup to attack the zionists, so that the zionists can “defend” themselves with the full ferocity of all the technology they have stolen from the US.
as for william ayers, he works for the eff bee eye and always has. the WU started out as a straightedge organization intending to respond to US atrocities in asia with more proportionality than any other oppositional group. when ayers and his wife took over the group went from straightedge to “all real revolutionaries take LSD” and “all real revolutionaries have sex with all other real revolutionaries” … which inevitably led to incredibly stupid actions on WU’s part. and yet … none of them went to jail … just because scum like william ayers supports the legitimate rights of palestinians doesn’t mean the palestinians are in the wrong. i suggest the graphic-novel style book “arabs and israel for beginners” for any americans (or others) who don’t get it.
as for “God” … take a look around you. this is the world your “God” has made. if “He” were real, i would advocate his overthrow, and his replacement with a regime more interested in making human life beautiful instead of making it so very ugly. sadly, fighting a figment of mass imagination is much harder than fighting a real entity.

why does one establish a corporation? it is to *limit liability*. it is to have control without having to take responsibility for the consequences. the orthodox british empire was ending slavery and had little stomach for the conquest of the US west. so they formed a corporation and called it the USA. the board of directors met in philadelphia and agreed to the corporation’s operating agreement, what you folks call “the constitution.”
they even gave their new corporation an emblem, a flag. you know the one, the stars and bars that brings tears to men’s eyes at football games… only the flag you see today is a liiiiiitle bit different from the one the masonic canal builder known as george washington raised in cambridge in 1776:
