Nasdaq Composite to an 11-year high

Stocks rose after the U.S. economy added more jobs than expected last month, driving the Nasdaq Composite to an 11-year high and pushing the Dow to its highest reading in almost four years.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 154 points, or 1.2%, to 12859, its highest close since May 2008. The Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index tacked on 19 points, or 1.5%, to 1345, for its fifth straight weekly gain.
The technology-oriented Nasdaq Composite Index gained 46 points, or 1.6%, to 2906, its highest level since December 2000. The Nasdaq is off to its best start to the year since 1991, up 12%.
All 10 of the S&P 500′s sectors rose Friday, with financials and consumer-discretionary stocks leading the way. Among blue chips, Bank of America rose 5.2% and Caterpillaradded 3.3%.

a bit of facebook fever has helped send it up but this is where we are..the worlds economies sit on a knife egde and the nasdaq goes to highs..once again another reason why the markets are not indicative of economic conditions..

Cat was a buy in several investing letters/clubs I belonged to 6? years ago…~sighhhh….But yes the market is severely overinflated…Korea had the largest amount of PUTS this month than ever before~hmmmmm

off topic, but take a look at this. could this actually be some type of underwater weather manipulation device such as HAARP? Perhaps some type of ocean heater to create ‘el nino’ type ocean phenomena? Strange to see and strange this is being deleted from the maps.

“markets are not indicative of economic conditions..” Yes they are not. They reflect the condition of men which for all practical purposes…are out of condition and soon will be unconditionally dead with the markets they feed upon. All the pigs in the trough eating steak, but soon to be eating slop and rolling in swill. That is a condition I look forward to seeing…down on the farm.
