Pat Buchanan: “300 nukes in Israel yet Iran a threat?”

Islamic wars have brought questionable benefit to the US over the last 20 years, former US presidential advisor Pat Buchanan, author of Suicide of a Superpower, shared with RT. A new war in the Middle East will be a disaster for the US and for the world economy, he says. “I opposed the Desert Storm operation in 1991 cleaning Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait because, I said, ‘This would only be the first Arab-American war.'” Looking at the number of conflicts in the Islam world that America is taking part in now, one cannot but admit that Buchanan was right 20 years ago. “You cannot replicate the Middle West in the Middle East,” Pat Buchanan concluded. From the time of the Cold War the US has military bases all over the world. Today, running a budget deficit of 10 per cent of its GDP, America simply cannot afford to continue “to carry this enormous burden, defending 40 or 50 countries around the world,” Buchanan says, “We have to bring troops home.” Getting rid of these bases essentially means dismantling the American Empire to help the US survive beyond 2025. America’s crusade under the banner of ending tyranny in the world is “utterly utopian”.

The recent firing of Pat Buchanan by the politically correct elite who pressured the mainstream MSNBC network is a shining example on top of the hill of dog poo. Nothing more, nothing less.

As disagreeable as Pat Buchanan has been throughout his life, he has oddly become a voice of reason as the elder statesman on an otherwise petty array of talking points.

It is not worth it to discuss exactly why Pat Buchanan got fired because it’s trivial and just plain silly. Listen to Buchanan himself in his response to the new blacklist. This is a classic case of media being influenced by groups who have great strength because of money, prejudice and a scared PC cult who continually dismiss differing ideas for a filtered false sense of common bliss.

Pat Buchanan is one of the few media heads around that openly opposes the urge to start a war with Iran. This is for good reason because if we try to cut 20% of China’s and much or Russia’s oil supply, things could get ugly quick. Notice that most of the mainstream does nothing the war drums that have been pounding, instead focusing on the endless nuclear goose hunt.

Also getting the axe was Judge Andrew P. Napolitano from Fox News Business, who also opposes a potential Iran war and basically all expansions of the government.

Both of these guys have sided with Presidential Candidate Ron Paul, with Judge Napolitano an open supporter.

All of these news outlets maintain a strict adherence to certain ideologies and watered down kool-aid that once could be associated with noble intentions. It is probably realistic to assume even most liberals objected the firing of Pat Buchanan and single balance in what has become the President Obama PC squad.

Americans elected and it was a social victory, considering slavery was not actually too long ago. That does not mean we all have to act the same or think the same regarding differing races or religions. It does not mean that the PC elite police have to warrant a pink slip to free thinking individuals who failed to open the junk mail.

Pat Buchanan is telling it as he sees it: Like a Boss.

Let error be tolerated, said Thomas Jefferson, “so long as reason is left free to combat it.” What Foxman and ADL are about in demanding that my voice be silenced is, in the Jeffersonian sense, intrinsically un-American.

Consider what it is these people are saying.

They are saying that a respected publisher, St. Martin’s, colluded with me to produce a racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic book, and CNN, Fox News, C-SPAN, Fox Business News and the 150 radio shows on which I appeared failed to detect its evil and helped to promote a moral atrocity.

If my book is racist and anti-Semitic, how did Sean Hannity, Erin Burnett, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs and Ralph Nader miss that? How did Charles Payne, African-American host on Fox radio, who has interviewed me three times, fail to detect its racism?

How did Michael Medved miss its anti-Semitism?

    • Azerbaijan one is very interesting

      • I thought the Angola part was more creepy still given their past involvement with Savimbi/UNITA & FNLA both. Jmo if I were Angolan, I’d think twice about any sort of diplomatic relations with countries that carried out their proxy war in my nation.
(Curious how China was on “our side” for that one).

      • For immediate worries Azerbaijan because of its geography. I did something on Angola last year. Will look.
