check this out..the main organizers of world temperatures and the production of their numbers use thousands of these weather stations to get their figures..so they are fairly important eh?

look where they place them..

next to air conditioner outlets, next to burners, next to lights that glow at night, in asphalt surrounds and once again near exhaust fans..now these are only examples..there are more..and you can join in the collation of american ones via the website..i have no doubt this is the same all over the world..if you place them in hot areas then guess what the figures are going to show you?
