Seven killed in Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting..”domestic terrorism?”? 3 gunmen? “targeted hit?”

At least seven people, including a gunman, have died in a shooting at a Sikh temple in the US state of Wisconsin, police say.

The attacker “ambushed” a policeman at the scene, shooting him multiple times, before a second officer returned fire, killing the gunman, said authorities.

The shot officer was among three men critically injured in the attack at the town of Oak Creek.

Tactical police teams cleared the temple, or gurdwara.

Police said they believe there was only one shooter, despite initial witness reports of more than one gunman.

At a press conference, Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards said they were treating the attack as a “domestic terrorist-type incident”, and that the FBI would take over the criminal investigation.

He said he could not release any information about the shooter, who local media reports said was a white male.

Women and children hid in closets as the gunfire erupted shortly before 10:30 local time (15:30 GMT) on Sunday.

Four people were dead inside the temple and three outside – including the gunman, said the authorities.

“The best information is that there was only one gunman,” said Chief Edwards.

At least three critically injured men were being treated at Milwaukee’s Froedtert Hospital, said officials at that facility.

They included the shot police officer, although he was expected to survive, said Chief Edwards.

Local news station WISN 12 reported that one of the injured had gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen, the second had shots to the face and the third had gunshot wounds to the neck.

Oak Creek is a town of about 30,000 people in the south-east corner of the state.

At least seven people have been killed and twenty injured as a gunman took over a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The number includes the gunman, who was killed by police. Officials are treating it as a “domestic terrorist-type incident.”

Four of those shot died inside the temple, while the three others (two victims and a gunman) were killed outside the building.

Police say they do not believe there is a second gunman at the temple, despite previous reports speculating about possible additional assailants. Greenfield Police Chief Bradley Wentlandt explained that reports of multiple gunmen may be based on several police radio calls about a gunman.

Officers managed to enter the temple, and questioned people who had gathered on its basement floor. Tactical units then seached the temple, concluding that there was no second shooter.

Three adults have been hospitalized with gun wounds into their faces, police report. They are all in critical condition. The temple’s president, Satwant Singh Kaleka, was among the wounded, though his condition remains unknown, his nephew Jatin Der Mangat said.

The first police officer to arrive at the scene engaged in gunfire outside the temple with the man police believe was the hostage-taker, Wentlandt stated. The suspected assailant was killed, while the police officer was shot multiple times but is expected to survive.

Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards said the incident was being treated as a case of domestic terrorism, with the FBI conducting an investigation.

SIX people have been killed in a shooting at a Sikh temple in the US, with the gunman shot dead by police.

The gunman, described by witnesses as a tall, bald-headed white man with a September 11 tattoo,  stormed a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, south of Milwaukee, and opened fire, killing six people.

One police officer was critically wounded with multiple gunshots before a second shot the gunman dead. Two more victims were also taken to a Milwaukee hospital with critical gunshot wounds.

A source close to the case told Fox News that the suspect is a former military member and is in his 40s.

Kurt Weins, a Cudahy resident, told the Journal Sentinel he rented out the upper flat of the duplex to a man in his 40s.

“I had him checked out and he definitely checked out,” Weins told the newspaper. “The cops told me they don’t want me to say nothing right now.”

  1. eyewitnesses said a man with a 9/11 tattoo was shooting. there are pics of a man in a black tshirt and a 9/11 tattoo – he’s now being called a “person of interest” in the case – watch him disappear just like john doe #2 – even though there is a pic in which he can be clearly seen.

eyewitnesses said multiple shooters. police said multiple shooters.

the first cop on the scene gets hit 9 times at close range, but doesnt die. that means the shooter had a small caliber weapon. and yet he was able to go on a rampage killing six people inside, despite the fact that more than one victim had tried to take him down (sikhs dont play, they are a warrior religion, not like dumbed-down helpless batman fans).

and the final cherry on top. he’s been followed by the SPLC for a decade now. just like the mcveigh/elohim city scenario.

  2. US government proposes law making it illegal for them to kill you

Last Friday, US Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced HR 6357, a bill which aims to ‘prohibit the extrajudicial killing of United States citizens’ by the federal government. In other words, in the Land of the Free, they need to pass a law to prevent the government from indiscriminately murdering its own citizens …..

  3. as predicted…

just a lone gunman… these aren’t the droids you’re looking for… no further details available…

  4. By the way, there is a rampage in Czech Republic in 1540. That’s correct, 1540 in the 16th century. Two men (the names lost to history) killed seven people and both perpetrators died. To this day, you can see the nine crosses in Lesní Hluboké. By the way, the mass rampages has been around for very, very, very long time. This is not a modern thing.

  5. There is only one gunman.

    Anyone, please read it:
Love won. Love saved so many lives that day, thanks to five heroes: Satwant Singh Kaleka (gave his life saving others and stopping the gunman), Abhay Singh and Amanat Kaur Singh (children saved lives by warning them to hide), Officer Brian James Murphy (Semper Fi and he saved many lives), and Officer Savan Nick “Sam” Lenda (brought the gunman down and he due to retire in less than 2 years). Up to 100 years from now, one of the last survivors of the Sikh Temple shooting would have said, “I saved a life when I was a young boy,” or “I was saved by children!” After all the Sikh Temple shooting survivors have passed on, the hole will remain in the temple forever and please remember, “We are one!”
