  2. Universal Basic Income will likely make people dependent on government.

When the playing field is level there are far more possibilities. Is our government hiding trillions of American dollars? – Walter Burien https://youtu.be/hWpbQfkv8Z4

  3. Social Credit Engineer Major Clifford H. Douglas said a tax on robots would pay a national dividend for those displaced by the robots. They don’t need paychecks and Bill Gates doesn’t need it all though he wants it all.

  4. Reblogged this on World Peace Forum.

  5. let me rephrase that for you elon…

“slavery is going to continue to be necessary, just in yet another new form.”

A person working full time at minimum wage in Ontario earns: $1,976 per month before taxes…or $1,284 after tax (take home pay).

A single person on welfare in Ontario gets $794 Tax Free (take home pay).

The Ontario Government is “testing” the idea that….the government gives the welfare single person an extra $490 per month (tax free, of course!!!) to make sure the welfare person is getting as much as the working person on minimum wage….with the idea that it will spur them to get a job and be a productive member of society.

Yeah….that’s gonna work. i want to move to Ontario

    • yeah, the Ontario gov’t is stupid. What is even more stupid is usually gov’t actions like this involve persuading the public with slogans and persuasive ideas. The gov’t has discovered that this slogan “spur them to get a job and be productive member of society” is possibly persuasive enough in the eyes of the public to sell the public on the idea, so the gov’t is using it.

  7. In 1966, the Beatles’ George Harrison wrote lyrics for the song “Taxman,” which appeared as the first track on the Revolver album. It became the theme song for a U.K. rebellion against the British Labour Party, which had set an astronomical top income tax rate and surcharge of 98 percent while Harold Wilson was Prime Minister in 1974.

Those high tax rates led to most of the members of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and other top stars of the 1960s British music scene going into a form of tax exile out of the country. Harrison’s most iconic lyrics iconic include:

If you drive a car, I’ll tax the street,
If you try to sit, I’ll tax your seat.
If you get too cold I’ll tax the heat,
If you take a walk, I’ll tax your feet.

Don’t ask me what I want it for
If you don’t want to pay some more
‘Cause I’m the taxman, yeah, I’m the taxman

Elon Musk is not going to like the “Space Tax”.. but i suppose he can launch it from Nevada
