Black flag wavers enter Iran

Members of Iranian forces take cover during an attack on the Iranian parliament in central Tehran, Iran, June 7, 2017.

At least 12 people died in the twin attacks by militants against Iran’s parliament and Khomeini Shrine on Wednesday, Iran’s Emergency chief was quoted as saying by the semi-official Fars news agency.

An additional 39 people were injured in the terrorist attacks, Pir Hossein Kolivand told reporters.

All four assailants against the parliament and two against the Khomeini Shrine were killed, reported the semi-official ISNA news agency quoting an unidentified source as saying.

    • sorry, wrong thread…this reminding was meant for the Qatar tread…seems the figures on the chessboard have reconfigured…Russia, Turkey, Iran, Qatar vs. USA, Arabia Saudi & Israel

  2. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards blame Saudis for Tehran attacks, Riyadh rejects accusation

  3. The terrorist strikes are becoming more precise and timely. There is fighting in Syria still, correct? I say that, knowing there is, but it just seems that the fighting “on” and “off” button is very orderly. There are precise strikes, even all the way to the Philippines, when a nation does not herd. A year and even less ago, some nations could go on their own, dragging their feet, but now it seems “the chattel whip” by terrorism is striking in more nations giving no nations a breather.

I do not know if I communicated that effectively or not. What I mainly was trying to postulate, at least from what I see, is that nations are being struck more often. There is a hardline being pressed. Nations fall in line or they get a terror attack. The politics in London or U.S. are to fall in line or they get a terror attack. There is definitely an escalation taking place in numerous places around the world.

    maybe I am off?

    • its also ramadan..any act or event or gesture in ramadan is the book says..

      • ah, that would definitely account for some of the escalation. Merit systems are destructive.

Good intentions by man’s own devised rational and felt ways are tainted with pride and greed. In other words, such intentions are never really “good”. Meriting ones own way is man’s sin and guilt, and only further propagates ones own sin and guilt. It is a death spiral out of control.

    • 2017 is a elections year…engineering of consent is even more important in such a year…

    • yeah, I read that maria when you linked it in the other thread, thanks! It is interesting that he is named to oversee C.I.A. operations and then the attacking in Iran starts under the guise of ISIS soon after.

      • Now the official, Michael D’Andrea, has a new job. He is running the C.I.A.’s Iran operations, according to current and former intelligence officials, an appointment that is the first major sign that the Trump administration is invoking the hard line the president took against Iran during his campaign.

Mr. D’Andrea’s new role is one of a number of moves inside the spy agency that signal a more muscular approach to covert operations under the leadership of Mike Pompeo, the conservative Republican and former congressman, the officials said. The agency also recently named a new chief of counterterrorism, who has begun pushing for greater latitude to strike militants.
